Creativity is innate.

I work with the mindset that every single person's experience of creativity is unique - and that everyone, in their own way, is creative.

Creativity as a mindset and value within a business must be nurtured. It is integral to unlocking what I consider to be the three big Cs;
communication, collaboration and community.

I believe in the power of human-centred workplaces, that emotions are central to building organisational culture, and that creative thinking has a place in all workplaces as a key skill—and I’m not the only one—it is at the top of the World Economic Forum’s Future of Work skills list!

I have delivered therapeutic arts and wellbeing programs and facilitated workshops both in person and online with organisations including the University of Melbourne, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Tessitura Network, CoDesignCo and Melbourne Recital Centre.

A professional facilitator, I can help organisations create emergent strategic plans, wellbeing strategies and values statements that actually work.

I am an Art Therapist with business credentials.

I hold a Diploma in Leadership and Management and a Graduate Certificate in Business. I am a member of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (iMLA). I deliver Creative Wellbeing Programs for workplaces, both online and in-person, that promote psychological safety and stress reduction.

I design experiences and services that foster connection through creativity, lead customer experience teams to deliver them, and champion safe and healthy workplace cultures for frontline teams.

I’m all about the feeling.

I firmly believe that grounding organisational values within how we feel at work and deliver our services is integral to connecting what we say with what we do.

I want to make work reflective and reflexive.

I build skills in reflective practice. To do this, I use an experiential methodology of inquiry as a grounding to enable the digestion and synthesis of data, experience and strategy so that the next step is action.

  • I provide fun, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming Creative Wellbeing Programs for workplaces.

    I am a multimodal Creative Arts Therapist (AThR) and professional member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA). They are the peak professional body for creative arts therapists in the Asia/Pacific.

  • An experienced facilitator, I provide consultation and wayfinding for organisations who are ready to reform their values and/or strategic plan.

    My training as a Therapeutic Arts Practitioner provides a unique grounding. My workshops and gatherings that are experiential, using creative and tactile tools that enable deeper insights, discussions and synthesis.

    I am an accredited Emotional Culture Deck Practitioner, certified by elephants&riders. Combined with my training as a Creative Arts Therapist and experience as a systems and service designer, I help organisations work feelings first to form values, define strategy and deconstruct systems.

  • I am a service designer with a background in digital and physical customer & visitor experience design, having worked at large arts institutions in Melbourne for the majority of my career.

    My approach is relational and multimodal, influenced by the MIECAT Form of Inquiry and Relational Systems Thinking.

  • Attending a conference or event is an excellent development opportunity. A good conference will be filled with insightful learning and energy, allowing staff to step away from business as usual and broaden their viewpoint.

    However, the opportunity for reflection is often missing in conference design. The key opportunity for staff, before they return to the office and their day-to-day to pause and look back on all they have learned. This moment of synthesis is a core component of learning but an often missed step in the overall offering of a conference.

    I provide Reflective Practice and Mindful Making sessions for conferences and events that create space and allow for digestion of what has been learned.

Developed by riders&elephants, the Emotional Culture Deck (ECD) and Customer Experience Deck (CXD) are powerful tools that get right down to the business of feelings using fun and accessible card games.


Jessie is an accredited Emotional Deck Practitioner and Emotional Culture Club founding member, trained by riders&elephants directly on using these tools to facilitate the ultimate human-centred workshops for organisations and individuals alike.


Jessie has run ECD workshops with teams ranging from 3 to 70 people and is always keen to find new and interesting ways in which they can be utilised to start conversations about emotional culture, practice psychological safety and facilitate the translation of values into verbs.
